Stealth / private browsing settings, where available, can limit whether you appear on others’ visitor lists and/or as online. - To send notifications Including in-app notifications and mobile push notifications (for example new messages, matches/saves, profile views, Discover updates, or daily pick), according to your notification settings. Browser desktop alerts, where offered, are controlled separately in settings. - To provide safety and moderation tools Including blocking, reporting, verification, abuse review, and enforcing our Terms and CSAE policies. - To enable sign-in with third-party identity providers If you choose Google (or similar) sign-in, we receive information those providers share with us according to your permissions and their policies. LOCATION INFORMATION We may use location-related information to provide Discover, distance displays, travel-mode features, and fraud/safety controls. • Approximate location may be derived from IP address. • More precise location may be collected if you grant permission in the browser or mobile OS, or if you manually set city/region on your profile. • You can often limit location sharing by denying OS/browser permission or updating profile location settings. Some features may work poorly without location. • We may restrict registration or features by country/region/IP for safety and fraud prevention.
